Now Accepting Applications The process is similar to traditional internships, with more oversight and reporting requirements. Internship coordinators at each university will qualify companies and students and provide them a login to the EIP Portal. Once qualified, companies can post their internship opportunities on the EIP Portal, making the internship visible to each of the four universities. The posting will include a job description for the internship, desired skills and experience, compensation range, and what entrepreneurial skills will be obtained as a result of the EIP experience.
Once qualified, students from the four universities can then apply for the postings in which they meet the minimal requirements, which will be confirmed by the intern coordinators. Companies then interview students that have applied for the internship position and select the student that best meets their requirements.
Throughout the internship, students will submit weekly reports outlining their specific experiences using the EIP Portal, which can be accessed by their university's internship coordinator. Companies will submit bi-weekly reports describing the students performance using the portal as well. At the conclusion of the internship, each student will be required to prepare a presentation to their employer and internship coordinator.
